Mr.P@$K,

I went to Edgar and read the full text of the letter. Your friend/operative Mr. Loeb is certainly eloquent. Can you enlighten us as to what a "hootenany" is?

What do you think of Penn Virginia Resources (PVR), the MLP affiliate of PVA? My broker shoved some down my throat, not sure why I own it, but at least its not down much.

Mr. X

Can you look at these dogs and make any sense out of them.
Specifically Look at insider sales.
4.5M shares received as a gift?
4.5M shares gave as a gift?
biz.yahoo.com
Buys and sells to related entities.
The whole damn thing looks like some kind of screwy mess at best and scam at worst.
Huge debts, declining profits, etc etc.
The sad thing is I posted this on SI about a week ago and forgot all about it. Someone asked me today how my short was doing. Sigh.

Mr. P$nk,

Since you seem to have a good relationship with Dan Loeb of Third Point, I was wondering if you could comment on the propensity of other investor to follow Loeb into investments in which he he has filed a 13-D. I have noticed, for instance, both Robert Chapman and Greenlight frequently following Loeb into investments. And now T Boone Pickens.

Does Mr. Loeb mind this behavior? Does he charge Chapman, Greenlight or Pickens any sort of fee for providing them with these opportunities? Does he resent others using his work and insights for their own profit?

thanks.

Mr. X
