Supposedly, Willamette products started having Hyperthreading logic in the CPU, but it was basically disabled. Therefore, there aren't any "non-ht" comparable systems. The Pentium 4 has had it since day-1

I'm not giving away any secrets but AMD has no doubt already obtained a prestonia, cracked it open and seen if it is the same die as NorthWood. If it is, in the test flow Prestonia may undergo additional testing to guarantee HT operation.

thank you, I just wanted to make sure that we are comparing apples with apples. Did not Dell for some reason reserved their judgement on the topic
