NW:

Thanks for the update.

As good as the economic news gets and as visibility begins to improve, the markets languish, at best.
The NAS just can't seem to get any traction.
Q1 earnings releases begin in 4-5 weeks.
Hopefully something positive will come out of the conference calls that will jump-start the markets.

Single Digits Beckon EMC

By James J. Cramer

EMC (EMC:NYSE - news - commentary - research
- analysis) said things aren't so hot last night at a
Roberston Stephens conference, confirming once
again that all is not well in storage-land.

When you combine that with the Hitachi (HIT:NYSE - news - commentary -
research - analysis) disappointment last night and what I am hearing about IBM
(IBM:NYSE - news - commentary - research - analysis), you have a sense that this
once-hot area has completely fizzled.

What's the matter with storage according to EMC?
How about everything: pricing is bad, demand is
bad, the products don't seem to excite.
