I am surprised by the lukewarm reception the market is attaching to the news that the recession appears to be over.
I really expected the revised GDP figure would have led to a massive rally for the general market.
My Twin Mining and Southernera are floating gracefully in a sea of red in my portfolio today !
Nice bounce off of 45 cents from yesterday.

Frank,....TWG.t,

We shouldn't have long to wait for results now,...in fact we are slightly overdue for preliminary results which would come if something interesting was found.

Based on past processing times by Lakefield on minibulk samples from Torngat last year (400 tonnes), we are due for preliminary results right now (approx 3 months from receipt of kim at Lakefield). The current 320 wet tonne minibulk sample from Jackson Inlet was received in mid Nov 2001 at Lakefield.

The minibulk results from Torngat in early 2001 disappointed the street. The stock price dropped slowly throughout 2000 and spring of 2001 from the $1.00 range in early 2000 to the $0.30 range in spring 2001. It quickly doubled from Mid April to end of May 2001 to $0.60 range, but then resumed its downward slow march until early January 2002 when the big pump caused it to double from the $0.40 to $0.80 in about 3 weeks. It held tenuously just below $0.80 for a couple of weeks until profit taking drove it back to the low $0.50's where it has languished for the last two weeks.

If the Jackson Inlet mini bulks disappoint with results similar to Torngat's, it's conceivable we will see a repeat of 2001 when the stock price dropped to $0.30 by mid April.

That's where my stink bids are currently.

Now SUF,...that's a very different story for squished SUFfering hamsters everywhere (ggggggggggggggggggg)
