When the average joe finds he's making less or is out of job and he's got guys like you saying his experience is not meaningful in an economic poplicy discussion, I think is a crock. Back in 1989 I was a partial owner in an industrial building that had over a hundred tenants and almost everyone went bankrupt or was slow paying the rent until about 1993. Someone was benefitting during that nonexistant downturn, but not the people that I met or did business with.
