I used to wear them and they were very comfortable. They also make belted models.

When I sold them they were made in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Rush Limbaugh's home town. We had a Hart, Shaffner and Marx salesman, Harts owned Sanabelt, who had an account in the Cape and would drive down there for the account and buy some slacks. He was from NYC and was very NYC.

One trip he mentioned he'd crossed into Southern Illinois, went to a bar and was punched when he ordered a drink. Twice. I 'splained to him that a guy in a high dollar suit ordering a Martini was open season in a bar that served people who lived by poaching. I never had that problem as when I went to that bar I was wearing hunting clothes and knew the owner.
