"But pantheists and polytheists do exist.

I have some Hindu friends and have found that in the hierarchy of Gods they too recognize a supreme God. Pantheists also recognize a great spirit within the universe that carries the characteristics that monotheists worship. The differences are like a drop in the ocean and it isn't like we have 7 billion scholars who can draw such fine distinctions. So, my point was that for practical purposes, people who have a sincere belief are referencing the same thing and the religious complexities that divide people are mostly about culture. We are going to continue to have conflict and likely major wars over this stuff. But essentially when believers refine the source of their worship it boils down to something quite indistinct (cept for the scholars maybe).
