Having grown up in the Valley, I have pleasant childhood memories of going to South Padre Island by motorboat before the bridge was built and when Spring Break was something kids did in Florida. I'm with you .. wouldn't want to be there next week, particularly with a large flock of Owls having descended upon the place. But being Owls, maybe they'll wisely stay out of mischief? And then there's the image of Rambi betwixt two Trojan hosses out in the land of LaLa ..... Sounds like much fun on both coasts.
