Tim: If that link is pointing out the possible "can of worms" the double gold medal awarding arises.. I dont really view it that way.. I think it showed the IOC was finally willing to stand up and do something about unfair biased, and bloc judging... If it helps to clean up the sport.. so much the better

The awarding of the second gold medal defies any logic whatsoever. If the second pair earned the gold, then the other pair didn't.

While I don't much care, I think it was a mistake, brought about by political correctness, that will haunt the Games for years to come.
