Unfortunately, my predictions were not accurate - I predicted 30A for
Northwood while it appears to be only 17 Amperes in
stop-clock mode. What a shame on me ;-)


Ali.... I missed most of your discussion on this subject. Are you claiming that this 17A is due to device off current alone? How much active current do you think is included in this stop-clock mode? Also, what frequency NW is this? Also, can anyone tell me the transistor count in .13um NW with 512K L2 cache?
