"Looking at the chart, it looks more like the Nasdaq is headed down. I don't know whether the Nasdaq will be at 1,000 or 2,500 in 6 months, but I think that range will contain it. I am betting on upside for the Nasdaq right now.

The March issue of Smart Money confirms that computer and electronics retail stocks have risen 80% since September. An article titled "The real digital revolution" talks about booming sales of DVD players and digital cameras, among other gadgets. The best performing SP500 stock last year was Nvidia, a maker of graphics processors, - up 308%.
