Oh, that's so sad. So many have lost so much in mutual funds when they thought it was safe. I tell you, Enron executives stole money from their employees, in effect, and so did mutual fund managers, who should have known not to invest in high PE stocks. When you are handling people's retirements who are expecting relatively safe investments, you need to be extra careful. Just my IMHO, but they should have to at least refund any fund charges if they lose more than 10% per year. That should be the penalty.
