Ted Re...I bought some defense stocks today and sold some of my oils. <<<<

I don't know about that one. I agree that defense will do well, but there was an article on CNBC last wk. and they think that if GW goes after Iraq, oils, especially domestic, will shoot up. Right now, I am betting on natural gas; as this country will rely more and more upon natural gas, because it is cleaner. However with the restrictions upon drilling in ANWR and the Gulf, plus natural gas isn't imported, except Canada, is likely to mean natural gas will be priced higher than petroleum in the near future. Natural gas has gone from a throw away resource, to the most desired fuel source in instances where natural gas is an option; because of green house effects, and EPA standards.

Harry, the oil I sold was HC.....I made a 40% profit in two or three days. It gapped up and will most likely pull back where I will jump back in. Right now, my portfolio is overweight in oils, nat. gas and utilities.

Tomorrow, I buy OI.........its chart is a thing of beauty. <g> I think its a turnaround story........once a high flier at $50; now forming the right side of a cup. It makes glass containers.......two years ago who would have thought I would be into glass bottles. But a man's got to eat!! ;~))
