yes ray, i am completely disgusted with the accounting practices and how wall street rams pro forma down our throats. but anyone that believes pro forma is a business as usual way to accounting is gravely mistakken. i was harping on pro forma numbers for over two years now.

I forget where you and i have crossed paths in the past. could it have been over on the cien thread when i was screaming it was an over valued stock in the 80s, 70s 60s, 40s, 20s? Were you taking the opposite side of me defending suh absurd valuations?

anyone that could not see the demise of ciena's earnings was blinded by greed or ignorance. and yes, it was me on that thread that first began the debate that the (IEN) officers would never be able to meet their two year projections. And would have to revise down to thhe point they looked like idiots(or scammers).

So yes, i am disgusted with current accounting practices. but more embarrassed for those unwitting investors that didn't realize thhe garbage of continual repeats of "one time charges" If you couldn't forsee this crash coming, you have only yourself to blame!
