Hi Bob, Think we can breath easier.I'm thinking the feared retest of September's lows won't occur in this sector.I do see it occurring in telecom and fiber optic component makers.These guys are now getting a double bottom(first being sept 01).This is very much like what semi's went thru in April,01(second bottom) and Sept of 01(triple bottom) - as the first bottom occurred in Oct of 2000. We have been witnessing new lows on JDSU and GLW over the past week, so yes I do believe you are correct when you say they will put in a bottom well after the equipment sector. When that is I have no idea, but I do not believe it will be for awhile. Scary, as prices do not appear they could go any lower. I am simply scooping up all the shares I can afford at these prices. Got into JDSU way too soon last year. Brian
