Just listening to the response to the question "what do you think of Dashle's critisism of the war on terror" on Fox, it looks like he has underestimated the intellegence of the American people. Virtually all callers saw through it as desparate attempt to strengthen the democrat's political position. These comments will be his undoing. I think Bush is very smart to avoid getting into that fray. He needs to take the moral high road and avoid using his success in this war for political gain. Makes the WH look a little whimpy but if they explain taking that position I don't see that as a problem. DOC
