Impeachment for speeding!

Death for DUI!

When the rule of law is harnessed to interests other than justice and applied, shall we say, unusually, it soils itself and those who so harness and apply it. This is painful for them to recognize, so they never will (the effect of motivation on perception) but the whole world knows what happened.

And it was not excessive to see that rule vindicated.

I would accept that more easily had the prosecutors not been so conspicuously turned on by their frenzy. I acknowledge there was a principle in there, but it was far overshadowed by the spittle.

At least, that's how it came across to this relatively disinterested party.
