Your thinking process is so distorted, it is difficult to respond. Do you really believe that the legal execution of convicted criminals is equivalent to the "state killing opponents"?

(Or if you want the short answer, the difference between our state killing of opponents and Saddam's state killing of opponents is more about procedure designed to hide blame than anything else)
