trhank you for your kind reply, and I apologise for not replying sooner. I live in Hong Kong, which makes me about 180 degrees out of synch with you guys. I thank you for your advice about not shorting oils right now. But from a fundamental perspective I consider them to be defying gravity.
Although having said that, I am a long and faithful user in VectorVest, and they currently rate Noble Drilling with the highest rating of all sub $20 stocks. (there rating is bases upon relative timing, relative value and relative safety)
I agree with your comments about energy. Energy stocks have been really clobbered in the past 12 months. An upturn in the economy would logically be analog to an increase in energy demand. PWER, for example has declined some 70% in the past 12 months but has gone up some 20% in the last few days.
