And I understand how much easier it is to set-up strawman arguments and steer the topic back to ghosts of Presidents past than it would be to defend the idiot spawn of a fairly decent man who actually served his country before entering politics. I refer to the guy who will readily suspend the privacy rights of every American while denying legal access to records that should be open, while protecting his Veep from scrutiny in Enron & oil matters, and while handing bazillions out in corporate welfare as an unrelated attachment to anti-terrorist legislation. Ghosts and strawmen are convenient and much easier to attack than it would be to defend the insensible.
