EMG or not, tight sequinned costumes or none <pant pant>, there's always the argument that dancing on ice does not exactly meet the Olympic ideal of extreme athletic effort pushing the boundaries of human performance.
Drama and romance, in particular, are neither aims nor advantages of sport... so sorry <gg>
