Good to see you getting into the debate, bm. I think you've got it all wrong. There might be a "torrent of opposition" from many in the leisured pundit class and anti-American opportunists around the globe, but not from the American public at large. Well, we may well get a chance to see who is right. I hope not. Let me see, I must be in the "leisured pundit class" but, on rethinking it, perhaps I'm in the "anti-American opportunists around the globe" group. That's no way to have a conversation. If you've got an argument to make, make it. If you wish to disparage your opponents personally, go slam at someone else. I like a thread in which we can discuss things without all the personal stuff. Ken (FL) has done a wonderful job of providing that climate. Let's help him keep it that way. John
