You bring a country down by not punishing obvious wrongdoing by its highest executive officer...

I never once suggested that the wrongdoing not be punished. I took exception to the way that punishment was approached.

If you have to go fishing to the sound of incredulous international giggles to find it and work really hard to the sound of contemptuous international guffaws to make it 'obvious,' how 'obvious' was it?

There's a lot of wrongdoing around Enron that won't be allowed to become 'obvious,' I'll wager.

Have the other cases of perjury convictions for lying about adultery been posted yet? Probably there are so many we should open a new thread for them so this one doesn't get all cluttered up with case citations.
