What partisan hatred? Among Republicans I am/was fond of: John McCain, Barry Goldwater, Dwight Eisenhower, Mark Hatfield, Elliot Richardson, Edward Brooke, Howard Baker, Lowell Weicker... there are others.

I am an independent; there are many Dems I don't like. In fact, I dislike the majority of politicians in both major parties.
