Oh. Libertarian: I prefer a federal government that does not try to solve all things for all people. A good example is federal tax subsidies for tax growers plus anti=smoking campaigns. They should do neither. Ideally, their principal focus should be national defense, interstate & international commerce, with the states handling the social welfare stuff. They should not be in the business of substance abuse protection, outlawing guns, abortion legislation, etc. at either federal or state level.
