One more FACT - as of the 1999 government statistics - the top 5 % of wage earners pay 50% of the income taxes and the top 50% of wage earners pay 95% of the income taxes.

Another fact - those real wealthy who avoid taxes do so legally and in most cases their earnings are from tax exempt bonds which allow states and municipalities to borrow at favorable rates.

Keep it on the enron moderated thread where facts and oposing views are not allowed.

Tim Lamb, has a number of excellent points on this. My opinion is that the Bush Administration has done a good job overall. Both political parties and their president's are affected by the very same corporate interests. And this has been the case since the founding of the country.

Mayer Amschel Rothschild had a very famous quote, I may have to dig back up.
