Flapjack's biggest concern from the Enron fallout is making sure no more working men and women get screwed by Big Business. If we need more government regulation to prevent similar from happening in the future, then that's a good thing, isn't it?

No. Confiscation by the government of all personal property and nationalization of all businesses would "prevent similar from happening in the future," too.

Would it be a good thing? Only by your standards, and those who share your socialist/communist workers' paradise vision.

Giving all airline passengers general anesthesia and/or handcuffing them to their seats would prevent hijackings. A good thing? No.

Eliminating automobiles would save tens of thousands of deaths a year from traffic accidents. A good thing? No.

Outlawing trade unions would put an end to union corruption and abuse of workers' rights and pocketbooks by union management. A good thing? Well, maybe...
