Ibexx -Grea question. All I've seen is Candles, Head and Shoulders, filling gaps, the chart looks simply awful (I love that one) and other such and all of it T/A and very very negative.

I'd have noticed if there was anything positive.

Best,

L

Shaping up to be a possible BIG up day, imho.
Nasdaq and Dow.
"gap and crap" ?
It does not look like it unless the economic numbers are really bad. Feels different from yesterday.

ibexx: Anyone who tells you that they saw this rally coming is being dishonest. Going into today's trading session, here is what we faced:

1. SOX index rapidly approaching critical support at 500 with INTC having broken its 200 dma yesterday on high volume.

2. Numerous tech leaders (CSCO, INTC, SEBL) dropping below 200 dma on high volume.

3. Daily MACD lines had not as yet turned upward.

4. Chart of the 10-yr T-note (^TNX) showed bond yields dropping, forming a "descending triangle". This implies even lower bond yields & higher bond prices, which usually coincides with lower stock prices.

5. Market failing to respond to positive economic data (up until today).

My point: there was nothing in the tea leaves to predict a blow-out day such as this. I guess I'm stupid, but I can't even tell you if Monday will be a down day or a continuation of today's rally.
