Paul, over on the mod thread, they're trying to decide how fast Hammer is going to be, what clock speed, etc., using the 3400 QS rating AMD put on the roadmap, and what some analysts have said. There is no consensus in anything among them, not even WRT whether QS is related to given AMD chips (Palo or Tbred), or Intel (P4) chips. Throwing in an expected IPC growth factor for Hammer, and other things, and they're all over the lot on what Hammer might be. If that group of hang on every word fanatics can't agree on QS, how can the rest of the world, plus dog, have any chance of knowing what the f^&% it means?
