Well, Chris, I am looking forward to Yogi's explanation as well.

I'm guessing here, but I suspect that Yogi believes that wars should be fought by military forces only, perhaps in isolated neutral regions where there are no civilians for thousands of miles. In Antarctica, for example. Each side could send their army there and duke it out, under the supervision of referees and umpires who would strictly enforce the rules, sending miscreant units into penalty boxes. Probably there would be a time limit at the end of which a winner would be declared, either by knock-out or on points.

Edit: I think ESPN would pay plenty for the TV rights.
