Today made the day for the semi-equips. Results for this
week are outstanding! The group is up 13 percent, the SOX
11 percent and the NASDAQ 5 percent. KLIC leads the group
this week with a 25 percent change. What I want to know is
- what is it going to do for an encore?<gg> Six(6) stocks
were up 20 percent or more. Only 2 stocks, TGAL and MTSN,
wound up in negative territory.

Bob,

Not pumping, but FWIW:

11:23AM LTX Corp may have won Analog Devices contract (LTXX) 25.35 -0.02: We are hearing Street talk that LTXX announced at the Morgan Stanley Semi conference that they had won a contract from ADI, perhaps beating out the incumbent supplier TER (-1.2%). We have no confirmation for this, and have not heard about the size of the contract.

Should be an interesting Spring.

Cree lowers revenue, earnings outlook for 3rd qtr

biz.yahoo.com

DURHAM, N.C., March 12 (Reuters) - Semiconductor maker Cree Inc. (NasdaqNM:CREE - news) on Tuesday lowered its revenue and earnings forecasts for its third fiscal quarter, citing product delays and weak short-term demand for its light-emitting diodes.

Durham, N.C.-based Cree expects to report breakeven earnings per share, before intangible amortization and other one-time charges, for its third fiscal quarter on revenues of $32 million to $34 million.

The consensus third-quarter estimate among the nine analysts polled by Thomson Financial/First Call was for a third-quarter profit of 8 cents per share, with forecasts ranging from 5 cents to 9 cents.

The company said it is targeting fiscal fourth quarter revenue to increase at least 5 percent sequentially due to anticipated increases in its LED and contracts business.

At 14 and change after hours Bob. Ouch for me...
