I thought Quanti-speed was not based on P4. Is that incorrect?

In theory, it is based on Tbird. And so far, we have had a straight line function of mapping XP clock speed to Model numbers. I don't know if it will change, but one thing AMD does not want is P3 at certain clock speed beat XP at equivalent model number. There may be an adjustment to the formula when we go to a new processor, which may have some architectural changes.
