Yet they are challenging Intel on more "fronts" than they ever have been. I believe that was Tony Viola's point at one time - he theorized that AMD will have problems spreading themselves too thin in trying to attack Intel in so many brand new "fronts". They may have great products that could work in different segments, but what they lack are the resources that will allow them to push towards market acceptance in each of the areas that they are pursuing. In other words, they may not be able to defend their current market segments while still driving the company towards new ones.

It looks to me like Intel has this one in the bag. What makes you think differently (other than that your switch may currently be in the bash-Intel position)?
