Toxic Package Sent to Tony Blair

Fri Mar 1, 5:48 PM ET

LONDON - Packages containing toxic substances were sent to several political targets in Britain, including Prime Minister Tony Blair (news - web sites), Scotland Yard said Friday night.

Police discovered a number of parcels containing what they believed to be "caustic substances" disguised as eucalyptus oil, a Scotland Yard spokesman said on customary condition of anonymity.

One was sent by mail to 10 Downing Street, where Blair lives, but remained unopened. Another was addressed to an unidentified Scottish legislator.

Blair was visiting Australia on Friday to attend a Commonwealth summit.

British Broadcasting Corp. reported on its 10 p.m. television news show that the packages could have caused serious injury.

No other information was immediately available, including when the packages were found and who might have sent them.

77 million Oracle shares traded today. I don't think this "news" was very new in the minds of many who otherwise powered the market up. We will see.

LOL! CA Computer Assoc (16.90 +0.62)
Issued statement on Moody's rating downgrade, disagrees with Moody's decision, believe is not justified, cites strong cash flow, liquidity.
--------

Don't even try to argue with Moody's. I now believe Moody's is much correct than S&P and Fitch in high debts and tight credit environment.
