Questions and Answers....

I believe J.C. (23) Dithers posted these and here are my responses..

Thanks 23!!

>>I'll leave this with some questions from the "Meaning of Life FAQ". This is not directed at you, but anybody who feels like answering.>>

1) Is my religion correct?

My Religion is communion with our Father in Heaven which is simply acknowledges all that is good and truthful and loving as coming from Him while abstaining from evil and loving the neighbor.

2) What does it mean to belong to a religion?

Belonging to a religion is the same as beloning to my Father in Heaven for He is the foundation of all truth and Love.

3) What are the preconditions? (Heredity, deliberate choice...)

There are no preconditions imposed for His will is perfect and the gifts from His Love are FREE.

4) What are the consequences? (Superior moral stature, better treatment in the afterlife, good luck...)

Being in synch or out of synch with the Divine Order of the universe are the consequences. Since energy can neither be created or destroyed we are either conduits - from our love of God and the neighbor or sinks - from our love of self and this world - givers or takers - for His Energy, Light and Love.

5) Are the consequences natural or divinely imposed?

Divinely natural and perfect in every way shape and form with no exceptions. Perfect Divine order extending from His perfect unconditional energy, light and Love.

6) Is belief important?

Belief in the ubiquity of ONE God and no other is the foundation of all faith.

7) Is logically justified belief better or worse than unsupported belief?

True belief is spiritual in nature. There is nothing conditional or natural or relative about spiirtual belief for the simple germination of such belief is the catalyst that opens up the the doors of our Divine soul to this "process of becomming" in communion with Heaven and our Father. Our Father guides, threads and supports this process throughout our lives whether we are aware of this or not through the operations of His Divine Providence which is the government of the Kingdom of Heaven which reigns here on earth.

8) Would an artificial intelligence programmed with the blank assertion get more brownie points than an AI programmed with a justification?

This is nonesense...

9) Does the justification have to be correct?

Our Father in Heaven's Love and forgiveness and mercy justifies us as more and more of His perfect order enters into communion with our New Will which in in unity which Him which gives us the blessings of a New Life we were created to freely receive, share and celebrate.

10 ) Is absolute certainty better than 95% certainty?

Doubt and questions will always be "out there" but as long as we leave everything to our Father in Heaven there is only this continous and never ending daily stream of wonders and energy and ideas and thoughts and people and LIFE to celebrate all for His glory. For our Father in Heaven who created the universe already has every answer to every question and every solution to every problem. In fact problems disappear for everything becomes a funtion and extension of positive potential and possibilities.

11) What about emotional intensity? Is a fervent 95% belief better than a casual 100% belief? (We're fairly certain the sky is blue but we don't believe it very hard.)

Love is energy!! You will know is Him by the energy you receive and naturally wish to share and celebrate. This kind of spiritual energy is simply not there with the natural-relative-conditional Love of self and this world.

12) Is your belief supported by reasoning and evidence?

Our Father's magnificent creation is enough proof. If we are always looking for "proof" may I suggest ripping off the blindfolds for starters. We receive His truth. We don't "find" it ourselves. For our Father's gifts are free and they are to be freely received and shared with others wth no conditions, bells, hooks or claims attached.

13) Would you be willing to change your beliefs if you found the reasoning or evidence was wrong?

There is abundant evidence in this world that the solutions and plans of mankind are completely out of sych with the Divine Order of our Father in Heaven. We don't have to claim, blame or shame anything either for as soon as we do this we become a sink which wars against the perfect knowledge which our soul already has of our Divine heritage. Just the feeling of being out of synch is proof that we are connected to a spiritual realm - a matrix of energy, light, truth and Love which connects everyone.

14) Doesn't that cheapen your beliefs by turning you into a tape recorder, since you're doing nothing but parroting back what you were told as a child?

My religion is personal. I share what I receive with others - this thread being one example. But the core of communion with our Father is intensely personal and profoundly spiirtual. And this has nothing to do with the rituals, doctrines and dogmas that mankind and the Gods of this world seek to ensnare and confuse us with. Watching the Super Bowl is just ONE example of mankind's religion made manifest. Corporations support and worship of brands another. Blind Patriotism another. True religion and spiritualy should be like a child singing or the child in all of us dancing, playing and swinging. Love and happiness is His Divine Plan. We are all meant to "be happy" and loving each other is the expression of this perfect harmony in His Plan.

15) Doesn't that cheapen your beliefs by turning you into a pocket calculator, since you're just comparing two probabilities to find out which is bigger?

I'm not sure what this question is addressed to, but with respect to the examples of numbers I have received and shared on this thread this is simply a small part of what "already exists" and numbers a pure medium which can reveal the puriy and awesome intelligence behind the operations of His Divine Providence and the unfolding way His truth connects, supports, weaves and threads us ALL together as ONE who are all in Him, by Him, for Him and with Him. And this is only surface scrathing. There will be others with humble hearts and souls with far more skills that Dean and I have who will examine this Divine Science of Numerical Correspondence at great length and we will all keep receiving more and more along this line. It's impossible to argue with the puriy and elegance of mathematics. We are all free to ignore these things for nobody should compell others to accept their beliefs or even methodologies behind any processes which we may share.

16) The Universe is a really huge place, and there are very probably all kinds of interesting people in it. What is the correct religion for a race of sentient plants?

C
ats
!!

17) What does your religion have in common with that religion?

LOVE!!

18) Are the other parts unimportant rituals or are they just as important as the universal truths?

Ri
tuals are not spiritual. They're an example of programmed man play-acting.

19) Does God have to be worshipped under a particular name?

Check what Emanuel Swedenborg has to say about this. Our Lord God in Heaven's name is Holy and is not to be taken in vain.

>>Exodus 20:1-17

Then God spoke all these words, saying, 2 "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. 3"You shall have no other gods besides Me. 4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on earth beneath or in the water under the earth. 5 "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the four fourth generations of those who hate Me,
6 but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.>>

20 ) If I tell you that a person doesn't share their parents' religion, and nothing else about them, are they more or less likely to be rational than a random individual?

It doesn't matter what I, you, him/her or anyone says, thinks or does. Each person receives the direct energy, light and Love from the same ONE God who is our Lord in Heaven. Everything that isn't of Him, by Him, for Him, in Him and with Him is against Him and of no importance whatsoever. There's nothing to report or comment on when it comes to nothing. NOT GOD is NOthing. When we give up all credit and claim for all energy, light and Love to Him we enter into communion with His Divine Plan and perfecdt order.

21) Are they more or less likely to belong to your religion? is that a statistical fact?

Every indi
vi
didual belongs to God. To come from, be define as or "belong" to anything other than God is insane. We are individuals first and last. We are alone. And we all are called to entered into a direct relationship with our ONE Father in Heaven who loves us and is full of mercy and forgiveness and wants us to be happy and sing and dance and LIVE!!

22) What is the a-priori chance that a random human was born into the correct religion?

There i
s nothing "random" about anything in the Universe. To believe in "randomness" and "chance" ranks right up there with belief in The Tooth Fairy. Our ONE Lord God in Heaven is Perfect ALWAYS!! As Dean Fagerstrom said "Chance doesn't have a chance of being chance." Belief in chance and randomness emmanates from the egoic insanity which believes in the existence of NO, NOT and limits and claims to our Lord's light, energy and Love.

23) What is the a-priori chance that you were born into the correct religion?

Ditto!

24) Why are those two numbers different? You're just not willing to admit it, are you?

The Lord's creation is perfect!!
Mankind worships imperfection and chance and randomness and luck. The more we believe in such madnes the more disconnected we become with the divine truth of our soul.

25) If the previous questions strike you as a blasphemous attempt to shake your faith, would you remove them from the FAQ if you could?

????????????

26) Bear in mind that most people visiting this page will belong to the wrong religion - isn't it a good thing if their faith gets shaken?

It's
a good thing for all of our egoic illusions to be exposed to the light!

>>Buddha was very tolerant & accepting of women ...<<

There are mixed signals on this.

The Buddha does tell stories in which there are enlightened bhikkhunis (nuns), and the Sumyatta Nikaya 5.2 tells us that the idea that women can't achieve enlightenment is not to be believed...
accesstoinsight.org

But in "The Discourse on Many Elements" (Majjhima Nikaya 115), the Buddha does dismiss it as impossible that women could reach many of the highest achievements...

...It is impossible that a woman should be the perfect rightfully Enlightened One.
It is possible that a man should be the perfect rightfully Enlightened One.
It is impossible that a woman should be the Universal Monarch.
It is possible that a man should be the Universal Monarch.
It is impossible that a woman should be the King of Gods.
It is possible that a man should be the King of Gods.
It is impossible that a woman should be the King of Death.
It is possible that a man should be the King of Death.
It is impossible that a woman should be Brahmaa.
It is possible that a man should be Brahmaa...

Also, Buddha was originally resistive to allowing women to join the Sangha, and had to be talked into it by Ananda.

So, Buddha wasn't exactly PC by today's standards. ;-)
