Softechie -- why don't you look for a chart comparing unemployment between 1929 - 1934 and 2000 - 2002.

While you're at it, a comparison chart of bank failures during those 2 time periods.

If those 2 charts line up, then maybe the stock market charts deserve to line up too.

If not -- please do us a favor and post your broken record message maybe once or twice a day.

Softie, go to www.zealllc.com, there are a couple of articles comparing 1929 dow to the current nasdaq, with some graphs. According to the chart, we still have a significant drop ahead.
