Orcl seems to be a repeat offender in this area of warning and then getting bullish.

They've done this in the past with other software companies being just fine. But in THIS market, with analysts on the hot seat over their bullish calls which were wrong, I'd be surprised if they pound the table on other software companies right away.

Guess we'll see come Monday.

what makes you say that? Oracle apps have gained against Sap. The CRM area is still clobbered by Sebl, I agree.
