That was my impression in the few days I was there last year. It didn't look good....

Troy didn't look quite as bad this time around. Quite a lot of new construction of town houses etc. near the town center - department chair took me on a tour around various areas where renovation and construction is underway.... however, it was snowing again :( Now I am in LA... which is so nice IMO... well I guess if I go to Troy and they get me a green card I don't have to stay there forever... Have you been up there recently? David
