Typical Gold/Chalu/Nadine/.... posts. >>>

Gus,the record speaks for itself....I have never said that you (anyone) are not entitled to support Arab/Muslem position, no matter how absurd that position may seem be to be to the others....One concession that you (and people like you) would never get, is the crazy view that Israel (Jews) are not entitled to defend themselves, or win....You see the conflict as an attempt by Zionist entity to impose its will on Arabs, (true) Jews see this as an attempt by Arabs to find the way to destroy or subjugate Israel by one tactic or anoher...There is a truth to both conflicting views..The real problem is not even in finding compromise (that may not even exist) The problem is to design the way to enforce so-called peace..on whose terms?

PS I also fully realise that you have the right to viscerally dislike Jews.

The Arabs behave like they were robbed of the land....They were not robbed, they lost the war that they have started...Now Arabs behave like they are entitled to kill Jews but not being killed...Looks like what they are going to get is another war....I think Saudi already have been presented with ultimatum by President Bush, the current Israeli small operation is Sharon's signature on this ultimatum

"Violence is changing the face of our republic," Mr. Chirac said. "It creates fear and undermines the very foundation of our society. Re-establishing security for all is indispensable."
Among his proposed measures are the appointment of a minister for public security, creation of special "task forces" for troubles areas, and steamlining the judicial system to give the courts "the means of carrying out justice."
In short, like New York City's former mayor, Rudolph Giuliani, Mr. Chirac is preaching "zero tolerance."
