After all, sulfuric acid, formed in situ, was involved! (see the P.S. of my last post to you.)

Since you use sulfides, I am sure you will also get hydrogen disulfide, H2S(g), which smells of rotten eggs and rotten cabbages. BTW, meat and cabbage and bean eaters produce H2S as a component of their farts!

No wonder WHO initiated a program to genetically remove sulfur from some strains of beans so that they may be cultivated in large quantities to feed the hungry masses without resulting pollution of the atmosphere that sustains them.
