JC - Zeev was 100% on at SNDK. He spotted something wrong with the revenues in the Sep qtr 2000. That was before anyone else and it was a very incisive call. He saw it plain and simple.

His call was one based on business and revenues and earnings which is what the markets are all about when the economy is growing. His call was effectively to warn eevryone that the economy was in trouble.

When the economy is in a slump as it has been since that time all sorts of absurd theories float to the surface, " can't recover sinec fear is not enough", the VIX and other related crap, Head and Shoulders, Candlesticks, Gap to Fill etc etc. All of these irrlevancies are used to satisfy our need to feel some comfort that we have some direction, guide to help us see the way. They have much the same relevance to the future direction of a market as throwing bones into the air to see how they land but they arise from the same need.

When the economy resumes its normal growth mode they and their proponents are of less relevance.

Zeev was the original Writing on the Wall becasue when he alerted us to SNDK it was economics and business that he was questioning not irrelevant voodoo of the type I have outlined above.

Best,

L
