Telemarker, >>Recently bought heavily under 6, sold heavily over 7 and now have a nice core "starter" position fully paid for.

Good for you. I am still holding my purchase under 6. Am sitting here like a black jack player after a wining double down. It would not bother me if something hit the wires on this Russian deal to push the stock down close to the low trading range from the past and then get a run to a nice trading range between 8 and 9 for the foreseeable future.

IMO, Washington will make sure they get this material at a cost that will generate profits. They can negotiate with Russia on a deal with trade that will make this happen. Our Navy fleet must have this material as it is a national security issue. Without cheap material these workhorses of the electrical generation system will cause economic problems.

Maybe I am getting to cocky - but this is how I see the business.

Joan

My put position on KMP is very small in relation to my total assets. It is less than one percent of one of my portfolios, the trading or cash portfolio. Of course, if you look at another way, what I have put into it would pay for me and my wife to eat out once week for most of the rest of the year at the place that has wine 50% off on Wednesdays.

In somewhat the same spirit I BOUGHT Enron when it dropped to about 28 cents a share. To my lasting regret I allowed myself to be stampeded out of that position by persons frightened on my behalf so that all I did was to make an instant 40% or so instead of doubling my money a day later.

So I just think I will see what happens with my little bet.

Once in a while I do something for fun--like shorting maybe 20 shares of Qualcomm when it was about 90 or so. Covered when I had a couple hundred dollars profit beyond my commissions.

I do have big bucks on NEM LEAP calls and DJX LEAP puts.
