I've seen very few stocks that made bottoms right after a warning like that -- there is almost ALWAYS a secondary decline ...I'm going to do a little bit of looking at some historical events before I cede this thing to bulls for the next two weeks. When one see something like what happened on Fri it is easy to get tunnel vision ...

nice longs. re ORCL, my read on the chart is different than yours. trendline connecting aug, dec and feb lows says buy 14.70. breakdown of the trendline has it testing long-term uptrend line at 12.

with reversal of short term downtrend on all monthly indices, the likelihood of ORCL losing 14.70 is minimal imo. plus, when did you ever see larry ellison release news and not get on television to embellish (good news) or downplay (bad news) the event.

personally, i think a lot of people just got shaken out of a big hit. i will take this farther and say that i doubt ORCL sees 14.70 at all on monday.
