Hi Joe -- I don't think I ever said that naked shorting never happens. As a matter of fact, I'm sure it happens. What I said was that I doubt that you can beat the MMs at their own game. Or more precisely, I expressed my doubts that the MMs would set themselves up to be beaten at their own game. Like I said, if the stock has zero or near zero volume for the past few weeks, that would at least confirm the claim that all the outstanding shares are in friendly hands. That would be a good start.
