they thought they would stand and fight to the death, as is the Taliban and al-Qaida motto. *********************************************************** As David Letterman said: "Mullah Omar has vowed to fight to the death in at least 3 different places." Would it be better to be still awaiting the results of an investigation of Sept 11 as we type rather than knowing the Taliban is not in power.....most terrorist training camps have been demolished & Afghanistan is no longer a safe haven for terrorists? Democrats who see nothing but negative results in the War on Terror, remind me of Republicans who never could give Pres Clinton any credit for the healthy economy during most of his administration. Both attitudes are unrealistic and far too partisan.
