who's going to loan them money for a "new" buildout was my point. My "bull' friend tells me that I ought to be long because
1) The recession is over and
2) There will be a huge wave of investment if the bells are unchained --

I say 1) is complete HS
and to 2) there'll be no buildout of anything until liquidation of telcom malinvestment gets started in earnest. Way early there, IMO.

Hence the reference to the banks winning, actually the banks are already hurting pretty good because of this cr^p.
