The point is Bunning questioned the prosecution of the war. He questioned the ability of the Bush Administration and the Pentagon to get its act together. Had Daschle or Edwards or Bayh done similar, the Repubs and their attack dogs would have jumped on them like flies on a garbage truck.

The GOP wants no dissent re: the War on Terrorism. None. Zero. Zilch. It was refreshing to see Bunning speak out. Hell, if he keeps speaking his mind, I might even vote for him in a couple years when he runs for re-election. Ha ha ha.
