ibexx, re: Construction involves a bit of planning, unlike retail shopping. yes, it does. and because of the very mild winter, more projects completed and completed sooner than forecasted in the bids. consequently more permits were granted and more projects bid into a season that's normally pretty dead. and that's all a good thing, certainly, but, it's due more to luck with the weather gods than to a booming recovery. now, if the weather continues fair through spring, coupled w/low energy prices and steady fed rates, it could certainly fuel a legitimate recovery. if that happens, then we have a reasonable basis for optimism. we'll see. that's my point. regards, l
