Great insight! "they often have a very self contained framework for which they strive to understand their specialty... when inside the framework your statement is true, when outside they tend to look at the counter party in the discussion as if he/she had 2 heads." I had a tremendous problem when at Ericsson, Stockholm. They hardly got what I try to pass to them. It was like I had just landed from across the Milk Way. My wife use to say: "They listen to you but they refuse to register what you say. Come on, she would continue, they don't want a Brazilian to come here and make them 'bend' their way of thinking.!" My take was that they unconsciously, feared the consequences of acting on what we discussed. They feared the outcome. But now You told me why. Thanks. I owe this one LLCF!
