You can't be that stupid. A governor cannot "order" an execution. The governor signs an "order", meaning that the will of the courts - the judicial system - will be carried out.

Words have meanings, even if you don't.

You're ignoring the fact that there was a trial by the judicial system, incorporating the determination by a jury of citizens, separate and apart from the executive.

If the executive were to overturn the judiciary and jury, wouldn't that lend credence to those who complain that Bush acts in defiance of other branches of government?
